Puerta Conectora
A virtual door to connect the city centres between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (both Canary Islands, Spain).
The Puerta Conectora is the concept for an installation in the public space. Two Terminals on the Canary Islands (one in Tenerife, the other in Gran Canary) are connected – everyone films the street in which it is positioned and sends it to the other Terminal which shows it on a display at the end of a red carpet. The Puerta Conectora functions for the people as a virtual-connection-door to the other island.
Collaboration with Carlos Marrero Expósito (Universidad de La Laguna, ULL, Tenerife, Canary Islands).
