Introduction
- Zoom Attendance
- We will record the session for students from other time zones.
- Some architectural projects: High 5 (Felix Container House), Burj Al Fanteer (NTSI Lab)
- Open Call – Creative Quarantine, PopUp Festival ⇒ During the COVID-19 Coronavirus global pandemic, the PopUp team has decided to create a digital platform name's Creative Quarantine which, through design, visual communications and art, aims raising awareness about prevention of the Coronavirus spreading, and brings together all creatives (affirmed and unaffiliated artists and designers) globally. Under the slogan STAY AT HOME & BE CREATIVE, you are asked to create your own designs and artworks, posters, comics, caricatures, animations, graphics, illustrations, drawings, photos and videos in 4:5 (8:10), 1:1 (square), and/or 16:9 (HD) files, and send them to cq.world.team@gmail.com with the file name Name_Surname_Country_City. Works will be published here: website, Instagram (@cq.world), and Facebook under hashtags: #CQWorld #CQ2020 #CreativeQuarantine #KreativniKaranten #OstaniKući #StayAtHome. For more information, check out the organizer's site http://popup.ba/cqworld/, and share the information about the platform and Call on social networks.
- A little reminder about the Project Reports (homework for next Tuesday): In preparation for the group meetings students are required to submit a ±300-word project report in which they describe their progress of the individual project phase: research, concept development, rapid prototyping, detailed design, etc. There are overall six project reports during the next weeks 7–12. (Felix shows template.)
- Online Ressources (ebooks from the library)
- End of the semester exhibition ⇒ website to document your projects. (Felix explains the tools he used for website creation.)
Project overview
- Felix leads through his created slides to summarize individual progress. Each student is asked to comment on their project and to answer upcoming questions. Each student is asked to share thoughts, drawings and cardboard models via zoom.
Homework for next week
- Project Report 1/5
- Improve/change your model based on the feedback you received.
